A Glimpse of Barangay Lupa
In the early period, there was an Ilongot named Guttad Camgat, a traveler who happened to pass by the place which is forested. It is also a good place for hunting and trekking because of its physical attributes. He called the place “Lupa” because of the prominent hill that also served as a marker of the travelers passing by. As years passed by, it slowly developed, and in 1971, Lupa became a barangay and still a marker route for the municipality of Dupax, barangay Muta, Poblacion adn other neighboring barangays.
