A Glimpse og Barangay Nantawakan

According to records, “Nahwakan” is an Ifugao word that means “a place where they live”. It was the first name of the place before it turned into what it is called today, “Nantawakan”, due to the practice of the people changing some letters in naming their place. Moreover, the place was officially declared as a barangay on August 20, 1971 carrying the name “Nantawakan” as its official name.
